Chetcombe House is an elegant and cosy country house set in an acre of lovely gardens and located just a few minutes’ walking distance from the centre of the charming Wiltshire town of Mere. It is the home of Sandra Rose (Rosie) and Jerry Meyer who do everything possible to ensure guests have an enjoyable and relaxing stay, beginning with a warm and friendly welcome.

We have 5 well appointed en suite bedrooms, a guest lounge overlooking the extensive gardens and lots of on site parking.

If you are seeking the right venue for a country house weekend with a group of friends we can arrange 'at home' beauty treatments, wine tasting, book group discussions, days out at the races and would be happy to discuss further ideas with you.

There's so much to enjoy in the area - Stourhead, Longleat Safari Park and Center Parcs, Salisbury Cathedral, Wardour Castle, Haynes Motor Museum, Dorset's beautiful Jurassic coastline, the Roman city of Bath ... and much more besides!!

Access statement - whilst we welcome all visitors to Chetcombe House our five guest rooms are located on the first floor (accessed by a wide staircase) which may make it difficult for guests of limited mobility.  A full access statement is available by e-mail.
